ton-s.app

Open the .ton web

Sites that live on the TON network, not on the public internet — now open in any browser. No wallet, no extension.

Type a name.ton and it opens as https://name.ton-s.app

How it works

from a .ton name to a page in your browser

  1. yourname.ton Open https://yourname.ton-s.app

    Step 1

    Type a name

Enter a .ton name. It turns into a regular https:// link — nothing to install first.

  2. TON DNS domain yourname.ton record site ADNL 4f1a…c09b

    Step 2

    The gateway looks it up

It reads the site’s address from TON DNS — the on-chain registry of .ton names.

  3. ADNL · RLDP Gateway TON network Site

    Step 3

    A direct connection

It connects to the site over ADNL and RLDP, the native protocols of TON Sites.

  4. yourname.ton-s.app

    Step 4

    The page opens

You get the site over HTTPS in the browser you already use — no wallet, no extension.

Questions

short answers

What is a .ton website?

It is a website whose address is stored on the TON blockchain instead of the regular domain name system. An ordinary browser doesn’t understand such addresses — that’s why a gateway is needed: it finds the site on TON and serves it as a familiar web page.

Can I open any .ton site here?

Only sites that are connected to this gateway. If a name doesn’t open, it either isn’t connected yet or the site is offline at the moment.

Do I need a wallet or a browser extension?

No. Just open a link like https://name.ton-s.app in any browser, on a phone or a computer. There is nothing to install or connect.

Why does a page sometimes take a moment to open?

The gateway has to find the site on the TON network and open a connection to it. That usually takes a fraction of a second; an occasional delay of a few seconds is normal for TON.

Is it safe to open sites through a gateway?

The connection between your browser and the gateway is protected by HTTPS. A gateway is an intermediary, though, and can technically see the pages it relays. Don’t enter passwords or seed phrases on sites you don’t trust; for maximum privacy use a local TON proxy.
